Prof. Elie Bou-Zeid receives The 2026 Helmut E. Landsberg Award from the American Meteorological Society

Prof. Elie Bou-Zeid is the recipient of the 2026 Helmut E. Landsberg Award from the American Meteorological Society, “For outstanding contributions to understanding urban climates and transports, including the development of large-eddy-simulation models”. 

The award is the most prestigious national recognition in the fields of urban meteorology, climatology, or hydrology. The presentation ceremony will take place during the AMS 2026 annual meeting in Houston, in January.
