About
Bio/Description

Alejandra is a PhD student working on a modeling framework to improve urban building and energy systems design. Her research interests lie in energy systems design and renewable energy/energy harvesting and her goal is to model energy exchanges in different environments in order to design solutions that reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and/or our dependence on electricity.

Alejandra has a strong passion for interdisciplinary work and hopes to integrate other fields and ways of thinking into her work so that her solutions are informed by the people, societies and environments that will use them and be affected by them.
